St. Francis church is one of the most beautiful churches I have seen. The church is deceptive from the outside. Upon entering, the architectural splendor begins. The church is cross shaped - with the dome being above the intersection of the cross. There is a striking set of organ pipes at the top front of the church.

St. Francis Xavier Parish of LaGrange, Illinois, just over 100 years old.

Franklin Cossitt donated the land where our first church was built -- a frame Gothic-style building aptly named for the missionary St. Francis Xavier It was built on the southwest comer of Ogden and Spring Avenues in 1892, on the site of our present facility.
